Without Radha, something is lacking. The manjaris especially want to see Radha and Krishna together. The sakhis can see Krishna alone, but the nitya-sakhis and prana-sakhis will not see Him separately from Radha. Sakhi means "one who is inclined towards Krishna." Nitya-sakhis and prana-sakhis are inclined toward Srimati Radhika. They want Radha and Krishna both. Radha and Krishna are a young couple, like the young couple who are brought out at the beginning of a drama. They are dancing, surrounded by the sakhis, as if They are on a stage.
