In the painting no lotuses float on the river. There is the empty bower and a Kamadeva in a beautiful tree. Opposite, inside the second bower, Radha and Krsna stand holding each other. The sakhi watches. The yellow garment of Krsna is prominently featured. The painting remains at a purely descriptive level, as the artist displays a sensitivity to both color and simile.
